Temple Beth-El (TBE) is seeking passionate, dedicated, and imaginative educators to teach at the Rabbi Felix Aber Religious School. As an educator in our religious school, you will be responsible for crafting engaging lessons on Jewish text, history, values, traditions, and rituals. You will work closely with the Director of Education and Engagement to align your lesson plans with TBE’s curriculum while incorporating your own creative approaches to teaching. Our religious school meets on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (kindergarten through 7th grade) and on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (2nd-7th grade.) Educators will make $95 per session on Sundays and $65 per session on Wednesdays. Attendance at staff meetings and faculty orientation will also be compensated at a rate of $30/hour.
If you are interested in applying, please send a resumé and cover letter to the Director of Education and Engagement at calle-schueler@tbeithaca.org with the subject line, “Religious School Educators.”
