About the Position:
The Jewish Federation of Broward County is looking for a strategic team-player with a “can do” attitude, to engage and inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders in our community. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a forward thinking, philanthropy focused space for young adults to build community and develop and grow as leaders.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee and implement a strategic engagement plan aimed at developing young leaders’ involvement within the Jewish Federation of Broward County to include leadership development, philanthropy, and volunteerism.
- Develop successful strategies to cultivate, steward and sustain commitment to the Federation’s Annual Campaign
- Build a comprehensive lay leadership structure for the YLD Board of Directors
- Organize and Manage Horizons Leadership Program which empowers and develops current and future volunteer leaders of the community.
- Develop significant growth in our participation in JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet
- Create opportunities to strengthen the relationship between young adults and the larger Federation Board and community.
- Partner with leading local, national and global organizations in the young adult space to develop and foster mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at creating a more robust Jewish community for young adults in Broward County, including One Table, Moishe House and others
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Areas of discipline: Jewish communal professional, management, event strategy, understanding of marketing and communications
- Fundraising experience is required
- Minimum of four to six years of experience in leadership roles at Jewish communal institutions
