We are looking for a passionate Teen Engagement Manager to join our team and make a difference. As a Teen Engagement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role working closely with teens to create strong programs, develop leadership skills and make their chapters great. Alongside your teammates, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.
SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a Teen Engagement Manager, a typical day will include:
- Working directly with teens to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs and calendars on the grassroots level (chapters)
- Mentoring teens and deliver leadership training focused on engagement, recruitment and retention.
- Sharing the BBYO story through social media
- Managing and training volunteers
- Recruiting new members to join BBYO and to attend summer programs
- Supporting Regional Event planning and attend regional events
- Attending International Convention
- Driving registration and “hype” up events
- Lead planning and executing Global Shabbat and J-Serve (community service)
What You’ll Learn as a Teen Engagement Manager:
- How to run a small business as you develop skills in budgeting, membership, marketing, sales, HR and event planning
- How to analyze and track data to drive decision making
- Global thinking as you work with an international team across organizational and geographical boundaries
- Influence and leadership acumen as you inspire others to action
- Relationship building as you network with and travel to other BBYO communities
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT
Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, as Teen Engagement Manager, these skills are key to success:
- Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred
- Experience: 0-3 years of work experience
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
- Transportation: Ability to transport self to chapter meetings
