The OPR Assistant provides essential administrative support for the Operations, Production and Reporting team. This is an entry level position that interfaces cross-departmentally with colleagues in fundraising, accounting, donor center and more.
Major Responsibilities:
- Administratively support the OPR team by ordering supplies and scheduling meetings
- Produce tribute cards and review donor acknowledgments relating to the tributes
- Maintain and manage incoming/outgoing e-mails through various OPR mailboxes on Outlook
- Schedule training for new hires in relation to the fundraising system database
- Prepare and Submit Billing Invoices for vendor payments
- Assist fundraising staff and other cross departmental staff with matters relating to donor accounts
- Retrieve and prepare documentation needed for Internal and External Audits
- Prepare documentation for Donor Directed gifts to the Accounting department
- Prepare and scan documents for long-term electronic storage
- Manage mail that is delivered to OPR. This includes mail returned from post office.
- Provide back-up support for other OPR tasks as needed during high volume and vacation schedules
- Perform special projects when necessary
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Outlook and Excel experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, with ability to work as part of a team
- Proactive work ethic and common sense
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective time-management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Openness to constructive feedback and commitment to self-improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
Salary:
$50,000 annually.
