You will manage JCC Kosher Digital Pantry deliveries, grant reporting, and ordering. Maintain food pantry organization and coordinate volunteer and client schedule. Manage digital platform format. Full time (40 hours/week). Flexibility with scheduling needed, need to be willing to work some evening hours and one Sunday a month.
What You’ll Do
- Monitoring food pantry inventory, placing orders, ensuring full stock of food items, and developing processes to ensure food racks, refrigerator, freezers, and food pantry are well maintained
- Maintain contact with community partners (Food Bank and Met Council) regarding delivery and data
- Be present at each food pantry delivery
- Manage deliveries (must be able to lift approximately 30 lb) and make sure delivery is put away in a timely manner
- Responsible for upkeep of digital information, including timely updating of stock
- Received and stocking items on shelves and in digital system
- Maintain significant knowledge of digital apps and programs
- Coordinate food distribution within the community and maintain reports of distributions
- Register new clients and maintain existing clients in digital system
- Developing and implementing community-wide event(s), including engaging and coordinating relevant stakeholders (marketing, printing, school, clients, parents, etc.)
- Enroll clients into Market digital platform and coordinate with JCC Social Worker to provide wrap around services
- Register new clients and maintain existing clients in digital system.
- Manage Food Pantry organization
- Work collaboratively with other Food Pantry staff
- Coordinate food pantry volunteer schedule
- Maintain organization of pantry and ensure food pantry is up to code
- Participate in staff OD scheduling
- Maintain Market digital platform and work with supervisor on grant reporting
- Register new clients and maintain existing clients in digital system
- Food Pantry manager should fill in during distribution hours during times when there are no volunteers scheduled
- Attend weekly supervision with supervisor
- Attend trainings as directed by supervisor
- All other tasks as directed by supervisor

- Must have demonstrated strong communication and people skills and a professional demeanor
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Data Entry
- Digital apps and platforms
- Ability to lift about 30 lbs
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a team atmosphere

SALARY
$50,000 annually, commensurate with experience
