What you’ll be doing:
- Supervises and directs the work of the janitorial, maintenance and other staff, as assigned, including work scheduling and training.
- Inspects and checks condition of building on regular basis, determining need for supplies, repairs, equipment and tools.
- Maintains the property and its machinery and equipment in proper and satisfactory condition. Makes necessary minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs, including heating and air conditioning systems and related components.
- Provides for efficient physical operation and control of all building functions, including moving of equipment and office furniture, decorating, pest control, use and condition of parking lot, general cleaning, window washing, exterior improvements, and other required activities.
- Administers contracts, as directed by the Building Manager, involving heating and air conditioning, elevators and other major equipment and services to insure proper functioning and operation.
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of high school education; specialized technical education or Associate Degree in engineering areas desirable.
- Three years building maintenance and operations experience of increasing responsibility.
- Prior supervisory experience desirable.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects, work in cramped spaces, have visual acuity, reasonable hearing, mobile, read, understand and speak English.
- Demonstrate ability to work with people in a cooperative spirit.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
