ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description
ADL’s Echoes & Reflections team, USC Shoah Foundation, and Yad Vashem, is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching, research and analytical skills, and a strong project management understanding. Our Echoes & Reflection internship provides the opportunity for educators to gain practical experience creating content for current Echoes & Reflections projects and implementing a special project during the internship term. The focus will be heavily on providing support for Echoes & Reflections core functions and participating in experiences to learn more about ADL as well as Echoes & Reflections.
Application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for non-profit work
- Desire to start building career within non-profit sector
Primary:
- Provide support for Echoes & Reflections core functions.
- Assist with content creation for current Echoes & Reflections projects
- Design & implement a special project during internship term
- Participate in experiences to learn more about ADL & Echoes & Reflections
Qualifications
Skills:
- Knowledge of Echoes & Reflections (required)
- Experience utilizing Echoes & Reflections content in a U.S. secondary classroom (required)
- Strong project management, organization, and time management (required)
- Ability to multi-task and engage in multiple projects simultaneously (required)
- A history, either through college courses or work/training experience, with data management practices
- Knowledge of Holocaust history (required)
- Ability to successfully work remotely (required)
- Research and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with Zoom and other virtual video communication platforms
- Knowledge of Echoes & Reflections educational programming and mission
- Previous experience in curriculum development/facilitation
Compensation and Hours:
- This internship is paid $15.00 an hour.
- The internship is 15 hours per week.
Location:
- This internship will be remote.
What will you do during this internship?
- You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real- time solutions.
- You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
- You will have practical, hands-on experience with Echoes & Reflections programming.
- Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
