PRIMARY FUNCTION:
ADL is seeking a Senior Vice President for Strategy and Impact to develop and lead key programs, research efforts and new initiatives focused on fighting antisemitism and hate. The Senior Vice President oversees the Center on Antisemitism Research; JLens; Education; and Innovation & Strategy. The Senior Vice President also is responsible for organization-wide strategic planning, implementation, impact measurement, as well as helping promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making and innovation.
Responsibilities
Primary:
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the executive team to define, develop, and execute the organization’s long-term, high-priority strategic goals, ensuring alignment with ADL’s mission, vision, and values.
- Lead strategic planning across teams and enhance impact measurements across ADL.
- Lead teams to excel in strategy and execution.
- Identify new opportunities for growth in both ADL and the market, assessing trends and evaluating potential partnerships
- Guide research and analysis to produce actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, impact and data-driven decision-making.
- Drive the integration of strategic goals into annual planning processes, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Impact Measurement
- Oversee development and implementation of key performance indicators to track progress toward strategic goals
- Lead the creation of systems and processes to measure the impact of initiatives
- Lead teams in efforts to evaluate and communicate long-term value and outcomes of ADL’s programs and initiatives
- Innovation and Change Management
- Lead change management initiatives and ensure organization remains agile
- Drive innovation in operational processes to improve performance and impact
- Track new trends, technologies, and best practices and evaluate their fit within ADL
- Strategic Communication
- Act as a key spokesperson for the organization’s strategy and impact, and engaging with external stakeholders, including potential partner organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and influencers to amplify the organization’s impact.

- Strategic business planning experience balancing innovation and fiscal prudence.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams, and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Proven literacy on research and how research can inform strategy
- Strong work ethic with a track record of delivering results in high pressure situations.

Work Experience:
- The ideal candidate has significant and progressive experience in senior leadership roles, focused on strategic planning, consulting, driving outcomes, impact management, or other related fields, within complex organizations.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Focus on management, strategy, and/or leadership preferred.
Work Environment:
- ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.
Compensation:
- This position has a salary range of up to $265,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
