OPERATIONS ASSISTANT, Wisconsin Region (Part-Time)

We are looking for a passionate part-time Operations Assistant to join our team and make a difference. As an Operations Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting administrative tasks, facilitating effective communication models, and assisting with program logistics. Alongside your teammates, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.
SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As an Operations Assistant, responsibilities will include:
- Supporting administrative tasks including program registrations and customer service-related inquiries.
- Managing check requests and invoicing.
- Facilitating effective communication models with teens, parents, advisors, and community members.
- Assisting with administrative needs for programs (ex: purchasing supplies, making copies, preparing materials).
- Working with vendors (ex: research locations for programs and options, identify price quotes, etc.)
- Building an advisor recruitment plan to increase volunteer support.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT
Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, these skills are key to success:
- Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Experience using Salesforce is also preferred.
- Role has in-person responsibilities, must live near Milwaukee.
- Ability to work 10-12 hours per week, some nights and weekend required.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law.
- Experience: Must be 3 years removed from high school
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
