POSITION: Graphic Arts Director
EXEMPT / UNION GRADE 17

UNION GRADE 17 SALARY: $81,577 to $120,519
Summary Description Of Position
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the Graphic Arts Director has responsibility for the layout, production, and execution of design and creation of both print and digital imagery. The Graphic Arts Director will conceptualize, collaborate, create, and refine creative materials for use in print, web, video, and other media.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Consult with Chief Creative Officer on conceptualization of major departmental projects.
- Collaborate with Creative Services team and internal stakeholders to brainstorm, develop concepts, and execute on all creative campaigns.
- Create graphics for print and digital including invitations, marketing emails, print & digital ads, brochures,
Facebook/instagram posts & stories, website updates, logos, indoor and outdoor signage, promotional materials, event & corporate PowerPoint presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Work with copywriter as needed and coordinate with Project Managers.
- Supervise illustrators and photographers as necessary.
Additional Skills
- Strong skills required in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, including extensive knowledge of how to set up
production files for print vendors.
- Video editing skills a plus (ability to cut, splice segments, add Images to the start of videos, put video clips
together with a music underlay).
- Experience working at a non-profit a plus.
- Previous experience in working with collaborative project management software a plus.
- Familiarity in working with Sharepoint & Microsoft Teams a plus.
Additional Duties
Be available to supervisor for additional assignments, as needed, including assisting with the Campaign.
Education & Experience Required For Position
- Minimum 7 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, and production.
- Ad agency experience a plus.
- Must have a portfolio that represents the type of work described in this job description
- High degree of creativity; organizational skills required to thrive in fast-paced production setting.
- A hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions. This position must report to worksite on non-remote workdays, as determined by the Federation.
