POSITION: CSI Physical Security Risk Manager

SALARY: $80,000 - $85,000
TIME LIMITED: 12/31/2025 (extension depending upon 3 year grant funding)
Summary Description Of Position
Reporting to the VP of Community Security Initiative and Director of Physical Security and Risk, the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist in managing all CSI physical security risk assessments, specifically the CSI Site Visits and Vulnerability Assessment Program and the program management of CSI special projects. Additionally, the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist with CSI’s Community Outreach
Program and the CSI Analysis Center as needed.
Principal Duties
- Assist with managing day-to-day operations of CSI’s Site Visit/Vulnerability Assessment program.
- Work to identify, schedule and conduct CSI Site Visits/Vulnerability Assessments of Jewish institutions throughout catchment area and provide security assessment reports.
- Prepare and complete detailed written security vulnerability assessment reports.
- Assist with conducting threat analysis workups of Jewish sites for staff prior to CSI Site Visits.
- Serve as constant liaison with JRIC, City EOC, local/state/federal law enforcement, and InfraGard to share information, intelligence, and security best practices as assigned.
- Conduct community outreach to CSI client leadership, staff, and volunteers to share information, intelligence, and security best practices as assigned.
- Manage CSI special projects program on development of new systems and processes to address gaps in physical security.
- Utilize CSI Database and case management system to carry out appropriate program-related duties.
- Stand duty as off-hour CSI Duty Analyst as assigned, taking incident reports, answering client inquiries, and drafting CSI and One Voice Alerts.
- Assist in the planning and logistics of CSI training, intelligence briefings, and special events as needed.
Additional Duties
Other duties may be assigned by supervisor, including various administrative duties, or assisting with the campaign. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required For Position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security and/or Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or equivalent military/professional security and/or emergency management training. Security clearance a plus.
- Knowledge of institutional safety and security practices.
- Minimum 3+ years’ academic or professional experience in security operations management, training analysis and safety plan protocols.
- Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification preferred.
- Excellent time management, communication, strong technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce notifications, assessments, and reports.
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations.
- A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and related platforms.
- Experience with investigative and risk management tools desired.
- A hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions. This position must report to worksite on non-remote workdays, as determined by the Federation.
