Position Overview
For nearly 80 years, Temple Isaiah in West LA has served as “your home at the intersection of tradition and innovation.” Grounded in Jewish ritual and infused with imagination, our synagogue nurtures and sustains sacred community. We see the phrase L’Dor Va’Dor (from generation to generation) as multi-directional: our elders influence our youth, our youth influence our elders, and everyone in between benefits from relationships at all ages and life stages. As we prepare our youth for an increasingly volatile world beyond high school in West LA, this position has a particular focus on teen engagement and innovative approaches to pushing back against hatred. Building on our previous successes with intergenerational programs, we are excited to welcome the newest member of our professional team as coordinator of intergenerational innovation.
