Summary: The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security protocols to protect the organization’s personnel, assets, and information across its headquarters and regional offices in close coordination with the Director of Security and the Director of Event Security. This role is vital in implementing security measures, monitoring compliance, and enhancing the overall safety culture within the organization. The successful candidate must be a proactive individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: .
- Support the Director of Security in establishing and maintaining security protocols for the organization's headquarters and regional offices.
- Support the Director of Event Security in the development, documentation and execution of security plans for events.
- Assist Director of Security in monitoring security systems and technology to ensure they are functioning effectively and report any issues.
- Assist Director of Event Security in coordinating security staffing for events, including risk assessments; personnel, intelligence, and communications plans; and contingency strategies.
- Coordinate security and life safety training sessions for staff and volunteers involved in events and facility management.
- Assist Director of Security and Director of Event Security in liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services to establish communication protocols and response plans.
- Gather and analyze data on security incidents to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Provide administrative support, including documentation and reporting related to security operations.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and security audits of offices and executive residences to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Help coordinate executive protection and travel security for staff, particularly during high-risk events or missions.
- Serve as the point of contact for security-related inquiries and incidents.
- Stay informed on current security trends, threats, and best practices to enhance organizational security posture.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 3-5 years experience in a corporate security-related role strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with standard office software and technology systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support regional events and offices.
