The JCC Denver is seeking an intuitive, tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional to join our Philanthropy team. This role combines donor/member service and project management, with a focus on frontline donor/member gift processing, donor services and stewardship, communication, and executive assistant responsibilities.
This individual will help oversee the logistics associated with our donor stewardship program to ensure data accuracy, communication, written acknowledgment and recognition of contributions to build and enhance relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with leadership and the philanthropy team, to support donor services, fundraising and stewardship goals and strategies
- Record/process all pledges and financial contributions, as well as the coordination of gift acknowledgements to ensure timely recognition to donors
- Coordinate with Development staff and the Finance department to ensure gift/pledge reconciliation
- Manage successful use of Salesforce and other database systems
- Support donor prospect research, create donor and financial reports, and ensure the data is up to date and accurate
- Support priorities related to the coordination of donor-related communication and/or marketing initiatives (e.g., events, campaigns, etc.) of the philanthropy team.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and related documents with attention to detail
- Compose correspondence as needed for members of the Philanthropy team
- Assist in proofing and editing department materials
- Serve as a liaison between the philanthropy department and other departments, fostering positive relationships, and clear communication
- Work with JCC departments and programmatic focus areas on coordinating details related to donor related activities and corporate and/or in-kind sponsorships
- Get to know members and donors throughout the JCC
- Support the organizing of meetings, and donor outreach initiatives
- Supporting fundraising and stewardship events and programs
- Serve as administrative assistant to the Philanthropy team, including email correspondence, and meeting preparation if needed
- Understands the professional responsibility of handling sensitive and confidential
- Working some evening and weekend events are required of this position.

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Proficiency in database systems (Salesforce, Raisers Edge or systems)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer service
- Proactively identifies and implements process improvements for greater efficiency
- Understands, respects and supports organization policy and systems of accountability
- Flexible, adaptable, positive attitude
- Professional experience in a nonprofit and/or JCC setting is a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
- Passion for philanthropy and community service

Full-Time employees of the JCC are considered benefits-eligible.
The JCC contributes a portion of medical, dental, and vision plan premiums. The JCC proudly pays for 100% of Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage for benefits eligible employees. We also provide additional voluntary benefit plans.
The JCC has a 401(K) Plan available for elective deferral contributions for employees over 21 years of age with no waiting period. The JCC matches 50% of employee contributions, up to 3%, on a 5-year vesting schedule.
Paid Time Off is a day-one benefit, accrued based on years of service and in compliance with Colorado Health Families & Workplaces Act. First-year, benefits-eligible employees may accrue up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in their first year of service. The JCC also provides paid-holidays and benefits-eligible employees are awarded up to 4 additional “Floating Holidays” per year, prorated based on date of hire.
