Essential Job Functions
- Set up and take down of rooms for meetings and events as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks by routine and work order
- Maintain outdoor area of campus as pertain to cleanliness and readiness for guest
- Limited grounds maintenance
- Housekeeping responsibilities as needed
- Basic electrical work, plumbing work carpentry projects, painting projects
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Facility maintenance experience
- Facility housekeeping experience
- Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry
- Knowledge of proper and safe use of tools and equipment
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Attention to detail and keen observation
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Valid Florida Driver License
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, pushing and pulling in excess of 50 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment as physically required for extended periods of time.
- Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of work at heights, sometimes above 10 feet.
- Must be capable of accessing small and confined spaces
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions typical for Florida environment.
Reporting Relationships
Position reports directly to the Director of Facilities Operations
No supervision of employees is required.
